Meet The Founder

Liz Plumeri, MSOT, OTR/L

Hi, I’m Liz!
I’m a school-based occupational therapist who is passionate about helping kids grow into confident, capable students. I was born and raised in New Jersey, but now call Philadelphia home! After graduating from Jefferson in 2021, I started out in home health, but once I stepped into the world of pediatrics in schools, I never looked back.

I created VocaConnect because I believe therapy should feel real-- rooted in meaningful, everyday activities that prepare children for life beyond the classroom. There’s nothing more rewarding than meeting kids right where they are, watching them build independence step by step, and celebrating the moments when they truly flourish.

I also know firsthand how much time and energy therapists and teachers spend trying to come up with creative, meaningful activities. That’s why my mission is not only to support kids, but also to make life easier for OTs, SLPs, related service providers, and teachers by offering tools that are practical, realistic, and ready to use—so you can spend less time on prep and more time doing what you love: making a difference in kids’ lives.

At the heart of it all, I love watching kids “grow,” but I also love helping the amazing people who support them every day. That’s what keeps me inspired and fuels everything I do through VocaConnect.

For me, the best part of this work is helping shape little humans into students who carry confidence, self-efficacy, and the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside of school.
